Surnames: Beeching, Sibert, Whittington Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Th.2ADI/2189 Message Board Post: Hoping some kind person out there can help. Sarah Ann Beeching, b. about 1818 in England, married Samuel Sibert and lived in DeKalb Co., IN 1860s-1890s. Samuel Sibert was the widower of Sarah's half-sister Emma Whittington. DeKalb County death records for the time period 1892 no longer exist due to a fire (I believe). Sarah Ann Sibert is buried in Union Cemetery, Garrett, DeKalb Co., IN. The ONLY death date I have is "1892" from her tombstone. Does anyone know if there are indexed obituaries for that time period? Or if Christian Union Church has records from then? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Take 327 (going sourth to 40th. Turn right (west) and go about one mile to 7th and turn left (south) on 7th. On my map it marked it as on both sides of the road, but it has been several years since I have been there. I hope this helps some.
