My GG Grandfather John B. Scott and my GG Grandmother, Mary Hannah was married in Dearborn County, IN on October 14, 1838. John was born abt 1811 KY [according to the 1850 Census for Ohio County] Mary was listed as being born abt 1814 PA. They are listed in the 1860 Census in Daviess County. So, I know for sure they lived in the area between 1838 up to at least, 1860. I can not locate them prior to 1838. I have searched everything east of Missouri. I am not sure of the time lines of these counties. They use to be part of each other at one time and part of the State of Ohio. Also, the same thing for Kentucky. Was once part of Virginia and West Virginia. I know, John B. Scott died before 1880 probably in Daviess County with probable burial at Mt. Zion/High Rock Cemetery. Mary Hannah-Scott is listed as Widow living with Son-in-law, John Edwards and her daughter, Harriet Scott-Edwards in 1880 Daviess County, IN Census.
