They were the parents of, among others, James White, of Dearborn and Johnson Counties, and Otho White, of Dearborn and Decatur County. John White was born ca. 1763 in New Jersey and died in Dearborn County ca. 1852. John and Abigail moved to the county in the mid-1790s, living in the "Bottom" and in Miller Township. Otho, born 1800, married Lucy Eggleston, daughter of Eliphalet Eggleston. Otho died 1849 in Decatur County, IN.
