Hi Sherri, I saw your reply about having a copy of the Dearborn County Indiana Cemetery Records Vol A. Could I ask, Did you ever see an entry in there for my ggrandfather: John Roehm, from Germany 1852, marr. Mary Scherger in Ohio in 1859, lived Lawrenceville, until his death in Jan 1885? He was a shoe & bootmaker, with a small farm, lived on St Peter Rd, N of Lawrenceville. His son John was propriator of the General Store in Lawrenceville at the turn of the century, until he sold it to his daughter and son-in-law John Schoettlekotte (and Brother Ray)in the 1920's. I tried to get a death cert for John Roehm (d. 1-12-1885) but Dearborn Co couldn't find one. He may have been buried at St. Jacobs in Sunman. I would love to know if he is in your book? or his dau Catherine Roehm (d. 3-13-1885) who died at 14. Any info, no matter how small, you might be willing to share would be greatly appreciated.
