The name sounds German. As I recall there was a German church at Wright's Corner or somewhere in that vicinity...with an attached cemetery. If you live close to Dearborn Co., you might find church records in the genealogical part of the county library. If not, there might be a microfilm about it at the LDS Church's main Family History Library. You could check through your closest LDS chapel. Each chapel should have a computer linked to the central library. If there is such a film listed, you can either 'rent' it and read it on the local microfilm readers at the chapel for a nominal fee or you can pay slightly more and have a copy of the film sent to the local chapel for permanent storage there. I don't remember whether I found my church records at the county library or at the LDS central library in Salt Lake City. I was searching the Methodist/Episcopal records for my ancestors and reading about them was fascinating. It gave me a real sense of who they were and what they stood for that made me appreciate them much more than if I'd just stuck with wills and probates. I recommend church records for anyone who knows their ancestors were religiously inclined.
