Under the heading of Aurora items, stated as from the Advocate. "Died, at his late residence, on Laughery creek, on the 26th inst., of dropsy, Edmund R. Squibb, aged about 60 years. The deceased was born near Auredas, Cayuga county, New York. In the year 1819, the family removed to Indiana, and settled on the south bank of Laughery creek. There were five sons---Nathaniel, William, Robert, Edmund and George, and two daughters, Rachel and Jane.--The sons are now all dead; the daughters still survive."
