"Mrs. Mary Meyer (nee Pitz) wife of the late Martin Meyer, died at the home of her son Joseph M. Meyer in New Alsace, Ind., Aug. 30, 1917, at the age of 83 years, 9 months and 7 days. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, relatives and friends who mourn her loss. The deceased was a resident of New Alsace for over 50 years and came to this country at an early age. She was born in Mottendorf, Prussia, (Germany) in 1834. She was a faithful and kind mother and respected and loving neighbor and a dutiful member of the Catholic church and several societies. Card of Thanks We kindly thank Rev. Pohl, Undertaker Joseph Andres, friends and neighbors for their kind assistance in her sickness and death. Funeral services were conducted by Rev.
