Dear Susan: My husband has a Morgan in his family line, but she and many Morgans were in Morgan County, Indiana, about the time 1817 you mentioned. It would help if you included dates in your request for information ie: John Morgan b. (for born) say 12 Feb. 1879, Morgan Co. IN. This would give people a time frame to look up some of your relatives. You will be surprised how many Morgans will have a John Morgan, or an Andrew Morgan in their family tree, Sorry, none of your relatives seem to be in my Morgan fammily line. You might write in, " Morgan County, IN" and then check for names in your time frame.
