I just quickly looked up all references to Armstrong in the North Bend book, and then because of a mention of Dearborn Co. I pulled out my History of Dearborn and Ohio Counties, Indiana 1885, and also the Indiana Gore book, and sent along notes on several items I found there, too, on Armstrongs. The Margaret Armstrong info is from Dearborn & Ohio Co. History, page 978 in the biographical sketch on Benjamin Wilson, Jr., and I will quote it here, to clear things up: "Benjamin Wilson, Jr., farmer, Washington Township, is a native of Kentucky, and was born May 20, 1804. His parents, Benjamin and Margaret (Armstrong) Wilson, were born in Pennsylvania, the father, February 15, 1771; mother April 1771. They were married February 15, 1792, and moved to Kentucky in 1795, and to this township in 1805. He was a farmer all his life. The mother died in April 1843; father, July 29, 1861..." I don't have any connection to these families, and apologize if I've lead anyone astray by being overzealous in my effort to help.
