Surnames: Feuerstein, Baus/Bouse/Bows, Olinger Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Sh.2ADI/1901 Message Board Post: Thanks to the research of another family member, I have some information on the Feuerstein family -- Johannes and Apolonia [Kempf] Feuerstein -- who settled in Dearborn Co. about 1842. They owned land south of Yorkville and are buried at St. Martin's Cemetery. Their son, John Nicholas Feuerstein, was born 15 March 1847, married Anna Magdalen Baus (or Bouse or Bows) (born 18 Mar 1856) on 14 Nov 1877, and later moved to Leshara, Nebr. Would like to find more on Anna Baus' family. I have that her father was John Baus and her mother was Mary Olinger, but no other information on them. The Indiana Marriage Index shows that John "Bows" married Mary Olinger on 3 Nov 1846 in Dearborn County. Would like to find their birth and death dates and any other info.
