One of the gentlemen was Mr. Frank PATTEN, formerly of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and the other a Mr. SMITH, recently of California, and a step-son of Isaiah BROWN, of Lincoln township, this county. They left La Cygne for Western Texas a month or so ago and arriving at their destination followed the pursuit of sheep herding for Mr. Brown, who owns a large sheep ranch there.
