I am looking for the family of Earl Chandler. He may or may not have been from Dearborn County. I have in my possession several pictures of him, including some from when he was in the service in WWII. He may have had some connections with the John Humphrey/Ruby Jackman family in Greensburg, Decatur Co, IN., although in what manner I have not been able to find out. He is just pictured with them a lot. Also pictures of his mother Irene Robbins Chandler, his sisters Elsie Hackbart and Gladys Parsley. A picture also of Earl and a Dorothy C. Chandler. Most pictures range from the early 40's to the last one in the 60's. Would be willing to send these to the rightful owner in exchange for information of why they are with the Humphrey family pictures. Perhaps he lived with them at one time? Mary Anne, Your request intrigues me, as I'm related to Ruby Jackman and John Humphrey. (Ruby's parents were my gggrandparents.) Darn it...their daughter died in 2003. I'll bet she would have been able to tell us what the connection with Earl Chandler was. She was very interested in family history. I have one other source who might possibly know, but I'll have to write her a snail mail letter as she is quite elderly and doesn't do email.
