I am a descendent of the Hugh McMullen who homesteaded in Manchester twp., Dearborn Co. in the early 1800s. I have been working from the descendency chart begun by Meda Garrigues and furthered by Gertrude McMullen Heitmeyer. I have added quite a bit to the chart but still have a great deal of research to do. At present I am seeking descendants of Ira Tinker and Ella/Abby McMullen - whose children were Samuel, Nancy, Hugh, James, Jane and Stephan -as well as descendants of John McMullen’s youngest daughter, Fanny, and her husband - said to have had the last name of Kolb or Kalb and to have moved with him to Washington. I also need information about how I might be able to contact Gertrude’s children by her first husband, Carlton Curtis Lawson. I lost track of Gertrude nearly a decade ago. I’m sure she’s passed away and would like to have that information for my records.
