He spent a short time in Indiana before settling in New Ulm, Minnesota. Does anyone have information on what he did and who he stayed with in Indiana? I know it's a long shot. His parents were Christian and Auguste (Arndt) Block; they were married in Brostowo (also spelled Brzostowo), Posen Preussen.
