Just to give you some background, my mother was Judy Elaine Duncan, daughter of Wilbur Duncan, who was son of Mary Ganey, grandson of Catharine and Michael Ganey. Am exploring records in Dearborn County, Indiana; Montgomery County (Litchfield), Illinois; and St. Clair County (East St Louis), Illinois. According to my information, Catharine came to U.S. from Ireland around 1853. Any information you would like to share would be helpful.
