Hello Alice, I have found a Charles F. Bauer born 3MAR1825 in Germany and died 2SEP1906 buried in Riverview Cemetery, Dearborn County, Indiana. Also Theresa Bauer born 8JAN1857 died 31MAR1949. She was kin of Charles & Katherine. No other Bauer's that match. I am related to a John Bauer born 1828 (2nd Great Grand Uncle) married to Julia Ann Malzner. In 1860 census he was called John Barr with Julia A. and Catherine age 56. Could he be a brother to your Charles? Is this Catherine the mother of both Charles and John? John and Julia Ann are also in Riverwiew Cemetery. In 1870 census there is a Charley Bower that appears to be your family and they were three families away from my family. In 1880 Charles Bower and family were living with Charles Martin and wife Louisa and family. In 1900 Charles Bauer and family consisted of Charles, Catherine and Theresa. Hope this helps your search. If you have any xonnection with my John and you Charles let me know. Keep searching, Dan in Florida ----- Original Message ----- From: <Sprankbauer@aol.com> To: <INDEARBO@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, November 12, 2006 8:35 PM Subject: [INDEARBO] Charles L Bauer, Aurora > My name is Alice Bauer and I'm searching for information on my husbands > great grandfather.
