Sarah J. Wymond died after an illness of six days, July 30th, 1881, at her late residence, where she had lived for ????? ????? year. She was born and raised on the farm where Geo. W. Nevitt now lives. She had lived out ???? ???? time, near 70 years. She was married to Wm. Wymond, September 28(?)d., ??3?, by Rev. James Murry. She was the only surviving member of the Senior Elder(?) family, outliving several of her brothers and sisters. She was the mother of seven children, who were all present to witness the solemn occasion. She united with the Methodist church in early life before her marriage. It was her pride and her joy in making home pleasant for her friends and children. She was so domesticated she never was out of this county, nor more than three miles from home for over half a century. The funeral was co????? by Rev. R. Plummer, then followed by a large number of friends to River View Cemetery, as her last resting place. J. E. W." NOTE: I am not related, or have further information on this person.
