Not sure when he attended Moores Hill, probably late 1860s. Went in to the sawmill and lumber business. 2-Dr. John W. WHEELER, born Sep 7, 1844 in Sparta; died Feb. 17 ,1925 in Lawton, OK. He attended Moores Hill around 1866; went on to Medical School and became a physician. 3-Dr. Cortez H. WHEELER, born Aug 28, 1849 in Sparta; died Oct 31, 1935 in Portland, OR; attended Moores Hill around 1870; also graduated from med school and became a doctor. Settled in Portland with a private practice; Portland's first health officer. All three of these gentlemen are sons of Piercy WHEELER and Jerusha Anna HOLLIDAY. Piercy and Jerusha are buried in Union Cemetery, between Moores Hill and Chesterville in Dearborn County.
