Then they go to Ohio, and the Farmer man dies in 1837 or so, Then she goes to Dearborn as Mary Farmer, and marries a Shaefer man, he dies and she goes to Missouri. Can anyone out there help with who her parents may be. Obviously there must be someone there around 1840 that is connected to her some way, or why go back there. And can anyone help out on the Farmer.s first name. Thanks so much in advance

Dear Karen, I am so glad to hear from you. John Humphrey was a brother to my grandfather, Omer. John and Ruby's daughter, Mary 'Bunton' was a cousin to my father and he has many tales to tell of her. Since I was the one of the few to be interested in the family history, I inherited a lot of pictures, some paperwork, etc. I would certainly be happy to exchange any information that I might have. This weekend I will be seeing my father, who is 95, and will ask him some more questions. Sometimes he remembers, sometimes he doesn't. He was born in Edgerton, Wisconsin to Henry Naiden and Mary Duxbury (maiden name). Henry was born in England ca 1817, but I can not identify him in England without additional information such as his mother's name, location of birth, etc. Henry Richard Naiden married Carrie Leroux Sanks who was the only daughter of James O. Sanks and Sarah Madeline Weiser. I have traced the Sanks and Weiser trees back to the 1600s but I can not continue with the Naiden line without another piece of the puzzle. I have looked through the LDS site but they do not make the connection from Henry Naiden in the U.S. to Henry Naiden in England. One possibility is that the spelling was changed in the U.S. English census information often has the spelling wrong. Having said that, the U.S. census had Sanks misspelled. If you have any further information on Henry Naiden born in England in 1817 I would be most grateful. Equally, if you would like photos of James O. Sanks, Sarah Madeline (Weiser) Sanks and their daughter Carrie, let me know. Bill Ellis
Mary Anne, Your request intrigues me, as I'm related to Ruby Jackman and John Humphrey. (Ruby's parents were my gggrandparents.) Darn it...their daughter died in 2003. I have one other source who might possibly know, but I'll have to write her a snail mail letter as she is quite elderly and doesn't do email. I am a relative of Henry Naiden and Carrie Leroux Sanks. I have photographs of James O. Sanks and his wife Sarah Madeline Weiser should you be interested. I also have photos of all of the Naiden family including Earl Naiden, Fred, James, Vera etc. I have traced Henry Naiden's father to Wisconsin but I can not trace Henry Naiden's father's home in England. I lose track of him there. Any knowledge in this area would be greatly appreciated. Bill Ellis, son of Dorothy Ann Naiden, grandson of James H. Naiden, great grandson of Henry Richard Naiden and Carrie Leroux Sanks.
