    3. Sue, This past October, I visited St. Joseph's Cemetery at St. Leon and went to the Parish office. I was looking for some graves and asked for a map and they had none of the cemetery. The records for burials on LDS Film and that might be the best place to locate the records. Margaret --- indearbo-request@rootsweb.com wrote: > > > Today's Topics: > > 1. I could have sworn that the 1850 said it was Hamilton County, but maybe I just wrote down the wrong county - Jacob's brother, E.F., was living in Hamilton County, OH in the same year. Thanks again - hopefully this will help! :)

    1. [INDEARBO] Charles Bauer - John Bauer (Barr)
    2. Dan - in reference to your email of 11/18/2006 where you mentioned your relative John Bauer, you said there was a Catherine age 56 living in his household in 1860. I have been searching for more information on her and so far have not turned up anything. From information I pulled several years ago (of which I have no proof at this time), it was suggested that a Christian Bauer born 1800 Wurtemberg, Germany died 1826 and a Cathrine 'Unknown' born about 1802 were my Charles's parents. Could this be your Catherine? The age would be close. Do you have anything more on her? Also an Ezekial Hughes whose daughter, Ann, married Edward Hunt, son of Edward Hunt and Charlotta Shenck, on 30 Sept 1830. Do you have connections to these families?

I went to the 1850 census to see where the family was and discovered that they were in Harrison. Harrison is a small town that straddles the Indiana/Ohio border. It is possible that they lived on the Ohio side and if they crossed the street to have a baby then that baby would have been born in Indiana. Don
