When he entered service he gave Deaborn County, Indiana as his home of record. His remains were never recovered. Soldier: HARRY HENRY LIDDLE, JR. Born: December 13, 1930, Caucasian Date of loss: June 11, 1952 KIA When the Korean War ended the enemy never returned or accounted for over 8,000 of our servicemen. They died in their hands. That was over 50 years ago. Since that time DNA has been perfected and also they are recovering remains in North Korea. Our government is obligated to return those remains to the proper family. DNA samples have been obtained from most of the families of these missing soldiers. For various reasons some families have not been located. There are 70 families in Indiana that have not been located. There is one family from Deaborn County that has not been located. When the remains are recovered and identified they will be returned to the family for proper burial. I am just an old (76 years) Combat Veteran out of the Korean War and thankful that I did return. I consider this a very noble cause and I hope that you can help in some way to find this family. For more information on the project you may go to http://www.jpac.pacom.mil/. My part in the program is to match up the lost families with the proper agency. I will be grateful for any assistance in locating this family. I will start searching Staffordshire! Can you tell me your exact relation? You talk about Aunt Vera who, of course, was also my Aunt. I have some poetry books that used to belong to her. Let me know if you are interested in any Naiden photographs. You said that we also have an involvment in the Revolutionary War? I would be interested to know who. But I am thrilled with my clue to Henry Naiden. I will begin pursuing it now! Bill

There are many Guards and Bradley's. This cemetery is not in very good shape and many of the stones are broken (or buried). I noticed that the Indiana State Library has a transcription of this cemetery on microfilm. They may be able to verify that he is buried there.

Henry was born in Staffordshire! I've got his original naturalization papers from Philly. There are other Naiden's in Staffordshire, with an i in their name, but the society told me it is usually spelled Naden there, with several other varients. I have a letter to H.R. from a cousin in the midwest, who addresses him as "Naden" and tells of other relatives coming up through New Orleans. I also connected some other relatives - including some revolutionary war folks, via some information my brother had. Look at the Naiden tree and you'll see it. My aunt Vera had figured out the Sanks stuff by going to Maryland, but it goes further now. How ya doing? Noelle

I'm a new genealogy researcher and am trying to trace the Chance/Champion/Glass/Grimsley lines in Dearborn County, IN. My maiden name is Chance and I have gotten back as far as a John Chance who married, I believe, a Champion or Glass in the early 1800's. Would you have more info? Also, my grandmother was a Grimsley, Lula May (father Nelson Grimsley; husband Emmet Weslty Chance), so if you have information going back on the Grimsley family I would appreciate that also. (I had an Aunt living in Moores Hill until she passed away in the late 1950's.) Thanks. Carol
It could be a different Elizabeth. However, in my own research, I've found that those differences in age on a census form may mean nothing at all. Victoria Nelson

Did you notice that in 1850 Andrew and Elizabeth are both 30, but in 1870 and 1880 they are 3 or 4 years different in age. This could be a different Elizabeth. Regards, Cathy McGuire
