My branch went to Indiana about 1830-1833 after Abraham died (about 1826). My ggg grandpa was John (referred to by some as Jacob but listed as JOHN GOODPASTER on burial records) his wife was Patience. He was born about 1785 in TN and Patience b. abt. 1792 KY. They had at least two daughters and two sons. Also, I'm curious about your Davis line of KY. My husband's line also has some Davis blood which was out of GA I think which migrated to AL then on to Calhoun Co MS. They were related to the GABLE line. I have more recent info on them as well as some other stuff regarding related to those families such as Talliferro, Stribling, etc. which migrated to parts of Mercer and surrounding counties. I received that info just last week which opened up about 6 generations going back a long way. Tell me which lines you have and where and some dates and I'll see if anything there hits. You never know.

I know it disbanded in 1870 and most of the families then went to St. John's Lutheran Church in Farmers Retreat. The church I'm looking for is now marked only by its cemetery, which is known as the Ellerman Cemetery. Anyone have any information about the history of this church?
