Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Sh.2ADI/1804.1.1 Message Board Post: Who is Hammond Redding? I have little information other than what I posted above the census information with the John and Cecilia's marriage date (I have a copy of the cert) and Bessie's marriages, children and her death in September 09, 1922. I am still researching John & Cecilia's family. I also found an Alfred Redding and have a copy of his death or burial cert. I do not know who he belongs to. There is an Aunt Ida Mullen living with Bessie's daughter, Beatrice's, husband in Cincinatti in the 1920 Census. I am trying to find if this is John and Cecilia's Ida. It is also believed that after Bessie's daughter, Beatrice died, he (Frank) remarried Beatrice's cousin, Ada (or Ida) May Redding. Ada's parents were Albert and Nellie Redding. Albert is thought to be the brother of John? I have not been able to confirm this as of yet. But do have additional information on Ada and her family. It is a little early here. I have yet to have caffeine so I hope I make at least a little sense. I would be happy to discuss any information with you further. :)

My gggg-grandmother was Permillia Clark, born 10 March 1800 in Sempronius, Cayuga County, NY. She married Samuel Scott before 1820 and they apparently moved around within New York and even to Ohio! The information that I have indicates that she is the daughter of Cyrus Clark who died in Indiana. Cyrus was the father of Freeman, Jeptha, Josiah, and Joseph Clark as well. Cyrus was the son of Josiah Clark. I wonder if this is the same Josiah that was in Woodstock, VT. The information I have comes from an unpublished (and possibly inaccurate) book regarding the descendants of Samuel and Permillia Scott. Does any of this information seem to fit in with what other people have found? If so, please respond. Thank you, Meg Baker
