Hi all, I'm new to this list! It's great to see so many folks helping each other! I've (relunctly) begun the nightmare JONES branch. Nancy Ann JONES b. 17 Aug 1839, IN (census records verify this); m. 30 Aug 1857, Stone Co. MO to William Allen HEMBREE (she was the 2nd wife) (I have marriage certif); d. Aug 1917 in Stone Co. MO. Her father: Carr JONES, b. c. 1813 in Clay Co. Mother unknown. I have tried the census on this man with no luck. I believe the info on Carr JONES came from the IGI or Ancestral File from the FHC. So, for all I know, the submitter has the wrong county. I piddled a little bit with land records, but haven't followed the trail to heavily yet. I think this will be my summer project.
