Hello everyone, I am new to the list and would like to post the names I am researching. I am a newbie at genealogy and so my information is not much. Any suggestions are most welcome on how to better my search as I am not familiar with searching in the States. I am looking for Washington NEESE born November 24 1816 in North Carolina, he married Leah Anderson in 1836 in Clay County. Their youngest son (there are 8 more I think) Elisha Huston Neese born January 25 1851 in Terre Haute Indiana. I have some information on Elisha Huston Neese as he went to Iowa and homesteaded and had his family there. I do not have any information on Leah Anderson or her parents or siblings. Would love to hear from someone who has some information or is searching these names. I know that there were more Neese' in Clay County but am not familiar with any of the names as of yet.
