I have two Malindas in my Luther database. Malinda b 1829 is age 21 in the 1850 hshld of Joseph Luther and Mary Downs. Malinda J Luther age 16 is in the 1850 hshld of William Luther and Charlotte Stroud. I think I must have cemetery listings, she was born 17 Dec 1832 died 31 Jan 1873, m Lewis Hardin 21 apr 1858. I have a note in my To-Do list to look into this further, since I felt it was rather unclear which Malinda did marry Lewis Hardin. it probably was the younger one who got married in 1858, but as I recall I never found Lewis Hardin in 1860 to get and age. Joseph Luther from the 1850 census was the son of Christian, and he and mary Downs were married 20 Jan 1820 Crawford Co, IN. I don't know about Mary Haltom marrying a Luther. Is there a date? Will be happy to correspond with the lady looking for Malinda who married a Napier. Did that get in Clay Co Marriages or was it before the court house burned?
