Well, I'm excited about all the info. you've given me. Yes, many of the names are familiar - I need to get into my file and let you know what I have. It's packed in my car, as we are heading for Missouri and Iowa for 5 days (tomorrow A.M.) to do some research. I'll contact you as soon as we return - I'm anxious to visit more. I have some obituaries for Jacob and Delila's children; pictures of their headstones and the cemeteries they are buried in. Daniel Sylvanus, one of their sons, went to Gage Co., Nebraska and is buried there. I am in Martinsville, Indiana, just north of Owen County and Clay County - however, I am an Iowa native. I've lived in Colorado, California, Iowa and now Indiana. Thanks for the leads; I'll look forward to hearing from you. They all lived in the Vigo, Clay, Owens County areas of Indiana in the mid to late 1800's. Daniel and his wife Catharine (1815-1908) were married in Lancaster County, PA in the 1830's, but moved to Bowling Green, IN shortly thereafter. They are both buried in Terre Haute at the Highland Lawn Cemetery. > > There is a descendant of Jacob who lives in the Terre Haute area named Alyson Price (I'll have to look up her married name) and is married to a Jim. Just in the past few days, Jim sent me a picture of Jacob and his family outside their family home in Jordan, IN (Owens County). I have no idea how all these people relate to each other, but here are the names: > > Jacob (no picture of Delila.....Jim says that he has never seen a picture of her). > Anetta Bell Price > Amanda Long Price (possible wife of Marshall Andrew Price) > Verna Dell Price > Marshall Andrew Price > Henry Price (a younger boy standing with Marshall - could this be your ancestor?) > Melissa Alice Price > Jacob Albert Price and > William Sanford Price > > Are any of these names familiar to you? I have sent an email to try and reach Alyson or Jim for some more information which may confirm that we're the same family.......surely so, the names are too similar and in the same county. > > I have been trying (very unsucessfully) to find Daniel and Jacob's parents names and information about them.
