Don't be surprised if you find stuff I contributed 20 years ago. :) Regarding the Coles, I am trying to get folks who know about the Coles from VA to answer and help me straighten out all of them. The person i am in touch with from the William Cole line, which includes William Simpson Cole, was virtually paralyzed with fear of stepping on someone's toes or something, but I am finding the ones from VA lived to the north and west of the ones I am interested in. Will try and post the whole thing pretty soon. I am reading all the land records, plan to go up to about 1850.
