This may not be specific to your people, but a wonderful overall look at coal mining in southern Indiana is in a book produced by Linton-Stockton Junior High students l982-85 entitled THE COAL PROJECT. It is a gem of history and lore, and all the more so because youngsters produced it. I don't know how you can find a copy; check with area libraries. Contains l85 pages of facts, illustrations and personal interviews. I personally believe it should be reprinted and placed in all libraries. --Dixie Kline Richardson
