Fred, the printed copy is almost illegible. It is easier to read the image on the screen. I suggest you ask Heather to blow this up on a copy machine and re-scan it, in pieces if necessary. She could first try scanning it a couple more times, removing and replacing it each time, to see if the random positioning makes some of the areas more legible. I have this almost transcribed, when yu get a better image. -----Original Message----- From: Fred Finkbiner <fred@claynet.com> To: INCLAY-L@rootsweb.com <INCLAY-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Tuesday, April 11, 2000 8:51 PM Subject: Encyclopedic Directory of Clay County Ind. > I need a volunteer or two, I have on-line a page that Heather scanned and >sent to me. Thanks to al that checked this image out and sent their thoughts, Heather has sent this page as high resolution, I have her .gig as well as the same page I converted to a .jpg file on-line. If you have the time take a look at both of them from this web page; http://www.rootsweb.com/~inclay/enc-dir/ The file names are; 5highres.gif 5highres2.jpg My printer is out of ink, I thought it was acting funny. Let us what you think of these two images. Fred
