A few weeks ago I went to the Clay Co. Courthouse to look for my great-grandparents' naturalization records. I found lots of declarations of intent, but only one full book of actual naturalization records. I could not have missed them, they just weren't there. Does anyone know if some of these records have been sent elsewhere? I have their declarations of intent, but the Naturalization records were what I wanted. Surely given the many books of declarations of intent, more people were naturalized than one book's worth. Laura E.
