I talked with the owner of Mt Pleasant Cemetery this evening. The church never burned, a shed behind it did! The cemetery is as old as the 1830's although there are no records of those who are buried there. Several years ago the church building itself was moved across the street and later added onto. The cemetery was copied by the old Wabash Valley Genealogical Society and published in 1982 as part of the 3 Volumn Set of CEMETERIES VIGO COUNTY INDIANA. That Genealogy Society no longer exists. At this time, I doubt there is anyplace we can buy these books except maybe in Antique or Used Book Stores. Thank Goodness, we have a copy in the Genealogy Society Library in Center Point. Mary
