James D. b 1846 Eliza b 1818 Christina b 1852 Larissa b 1855 John b 1860 William b 1861 Minnie b 1863 They settled in Clay Co. sometime after Minnie was born in 1863. I have reason to believe that my gggrandfather, James was the first postmaster of Saline City. Would anyone out there be able to offer information??

try again about Labor Day as Saline City has a poor man's picnic where all the "old" folks gather for old timers baseball game and ususally a horse pull. or some type of entertainment like that.
