Do you belong to OBIT-LOOKUPS-L? If not, just send an e-mail to OBIT-LOOKUPS-L-request@rootsweb.com and type "subscribe" in the body of the e-mail. Then once your subscription has been confirmed, you can request an obituary by using the following format: Subject: STATE, COUNTY, CITY (you're more likely to get a response if you use this format). Then state the particulars in the body of the letter -- name, date of death, etc. If there is someone on the list from Clay County who is willing to do a lookup, they will contact you.
