Fisher their wives of Clay County in the State of Indiana Convey and Warrant to Adam Backfich in Clay County in the State of Indiana for the sum of One Thousand dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the following Real Estate in Clay County in the State of Indiana to wit: the South East Quarter of the South East Quarter of Section No (20) twenty Town twelve (12) Range Six (6) West Containing forty acres more or less. And it is further understood that Adam Backfich is to pay the taxes on said land for the year 1868. In Witness Whereof the Said John Fogel & John S. Fisher & Doratha Fogel & Doratha Fisher have herewith set their hands and seals this fourth day of March 1868.
