He was a member of the Brazil Eagles Lodge. Surviving are the wife, Mary E; four stepsons, John, Henry, and Lee Hyde, all of Brazil, and Marion Hyde of Terre Haute; one stepdaughter, Miss Florence Hyde of Brazil; five sisters, Mrs. Ora Muncie, Mrs. Rose Zaring, Mrs. Stadie Fitzpatrick and Mrs. Matilda Brannon, all of Brazil, and Mrs. Rebecca Lawson of Cory; two brothers, Robert of Marion, and James of Terre Haute, and nine stepgrandchildren. The body was taken to the Miller & Sons Funeral Home where friends may call after 3:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services will be at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Summit Lawn cemetery.
