Surnames: Gard, Pierson, Sherfick Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/xh.2ADE/1710 Message Board Post: Hello, I am trying to find some information on a child that John Harvey Gard (22 Sep 1874 Clay Co., Indiana - 5 Mar 1953 buried in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana) and Cora Pierson whom died 28 Apr 1961 whom is buried next to her husband. They adopted a little girl named Ruth Esther, she was born 15 Feb 1912, I got the date through the social security death index. She died 22 Aug 1977 from Cancer and she was buried with her parents and husband also next to Myrtle Gard Kenyon, in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana. Ruth married a Sherfick. This is all the information I have on her. If you can help me I sure would appreciate it. I have NO idea how to go about possibly finding a birth certificate or anything that could give her birth parents, so if you should know how to do this, I could also use that information.
