One time that happen to me...and lo behold...I found out that I was looking at the father instead of the son...we thought that the father stayed in England..to my surprise when the light bulb came on..couldn't wait to call a cousin long distance and she went up there to look at the records..to verifiy it..We were both surprised. She been researching much longer than I had...it just never occured to us that the father came to America (they had the same first names)..
