    3. The Brazil Public Library annex (1-812-446-1331) building containing the Genealogy Dept. has this book. I have used it. You look up a name, and it gives a code for the cemetery name. Nothing else. Some, if not all, of the cemeteries have had tombstone inscriptions published, some years back, which is how I have found a few ancestors. I'm sure Brazil Public has these too, which might be more helpful to you because they are open more hours a week than the Genealogical Society Library. Vigo County Public Library in Terre Haute has the tombstone inscription books, but not (at this point) the master list of names and what cemetery they are buried in. One of the problems I ran in to initially was that the books listed my great-grandparents as buried in the Catholic Cemetery, but I didn't find out for a long time time it was now owned by the city and called Restlawn. Probably locals knew that, but we out-of-towners didn't! The woman who has been very helpful the times I have visited the Brazil Public Library annex is Penny Shad. She knows her material well.
