I 'm not a researcher of your family. However, I wanted to point out that there is a Jackson Hill. It is located in Sullivan County, Indiana. My grandfather spent part of his youth there. It was a mining town. I think the mines there had names like "Jackson Hill No. 5", but don't quote me on that part. The last time I was there, it was mostly empty. It's consists of only a couple of blocks or so. I believe that you can start in Shelburn on State Rd 48, then go East until you see a sign that points to Jackson Hill, then go South on that road. You might have to ask some locals to get the exact location. It's been several years since I've been there. If you do a search on mapquest.com for shelburn indiana, it will show that Jackson Hill is on 48. I believe that is a bit off, and that is South of 48.
