I have a lot of BOOR information from Staunton, Clay Co. Indiana to Kansas. Am happy to help anyone. Barbara Rector Hill
Great. I know very little about the BOOR's. I know that my g-g-g grandfather, John CARTER, married a Mary Jane BOOR. I also have seen a Will extract from the same area as John CARTER lived that indicates her Father may have been John BOOR and mother Sarah (Miller). I'm assuming this based on a correct aged Mary Jane mentioned in the extract. The extract also mentions siblings; Elijah, Elizabeth, Uriah, John, Abraham, Delila. I'm not sure what I should ask for since I don't want to be too much of a pest; but, lets try this to start; Does your information show any of the above BOORs moving to either Wilson or Neosho Counties in KS? The City of Chanute is in Neosho Co., and is where John and Mary Jane settled and are buried. My info indicates that John and Mary Jane were in nearby Wilson Co. for a couple of years prior to moving to Chanute. The time frame was abt. 1870 to 1872. I'm assuming the BOORs would have moved to the same area, and that may be an incorrect assumption, but its a start. If the same places and names show up, then I'd be anxious to obtain more details about the BOORs. I'm going to be in/around Clay Co., IN on the 24 th and 25th of this month. Coming in from Oregon, via KS. Thank you, Wayne Rickert [email protected] wrote: > I have a lot of BOOR information from Staunton, Clay Co.
