<Joanna Serrin b.1810 N.Y. m.2nd James Armstrong in 1837 Vigo Co.and m.3rd.John Hendrix in 1850 Clay Co.She d. ? in Clay Co.Her children were Thomas H.,James S.,John R.> PINHOOK to Brazil, by Nell Decker Hubbard on Pg 26, says that John Hendrix married Johanna Armstrong on Apr. 10, 1850. She died at Terre Haute, IN Aug 11, 1882. The book doesn't say so, but I believe she is buried near the front of Highland Lawn Cemetery in Terre Haute. There were no children from that marriage. John Hendrix Sr. was my ancestor. His first wife Martha B. Day was my ggg grandmother. John Hendrix Jr, Lucy Hendrix Brownlee, Clara Brownlee Smith, Edith Smith Orman and me, Mary Orman Gardner is my direct line.
