Surnames: Stritch and Hovauzec Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/xh.2ADE/1594 Message Board Post: My great great grandparents were married in Brazil in 1893. (Thomas Stritch and Mary Hovauzec?) They were from Austria originally. They had 9 children. The children and them ended up in Connecticut. Anyone have any idea what would have made them come as far inland as indiana and what might make them move to CT before WWI? Also do these names sound familiar? I could also use suggestions about where there are good resources for getting records. I live in New England so a sunday drive to indiana is not an option and other than this marriage the family on all sides is in New England so I'm out of my field here. Any contructive help appreciated. D James
