Janice ; I'm not sure at this point of my lines connection. I have a John Moore b. abt 1817 Ky marr. to Susan Roberts b. 1825 Ky. in 1842 in Clay Co. Living in 1850 Riley Twp. VVigo Co. The John Moore in William Moore's family in 1853 showed to have no wife, so I suspect he's not my direct line. My guess at this time is Zebulon's son may be more likely my connection. But there are two or three other Moore families living in the area. There a Samuel Moore who died in 1827 Vigo Co., with a son John, David Alexander and Samuel. I have a lot of deed information, which makes the lines in Vigo and Clay Co. less confusing, but still not definitive. I think the John shown in 1880 census Mo. is William Moore's (died 1837 Clay from Pa.) son, since it showed his father was from Pa. I also have some confusing data on William R. Moore. Any information you have on James Moore in Johnson Co. Dates and places, if you could send me the information it may help me. My John Moore moved near that county around 1860.
