I also have two Moore lines in Clay Co. The first is Zachariah MOORE b. about 1825 in Kentucky. I THINK he is the son of Thomas and Elizabeth of Jackson twp. Mainly because in the 1860 he is living next to them and the land he leaves in his will dated 1862 and proved in 1863 is part of the land Thomas pattened in 1838. Also in 1850 the neighbors of Thomas Moore are the Gibben family. They raised Mrs Rhoda (Rhody) GIBBENS orphan sister Hannah Jane ANTRIM. We know that "Jane" and Zach married in 1850 from her obit and the 1850 census. The second is that of Isaac M. MOORE originally of Ohio. Apparently he is not the only gentleman of that name to have lived in Clay co. The man in the 1850 census has a different wife. My Issac had married Jaculine (Adeline) ALBERT in 1835. They are in Posey twp before the 1860 census. But where they where between 1835 and 1860 hasn't been proved yet. If any of this sounds familiar let me know. Terri
