From the Clay County Citizen, Bowling Green, issue August 8, l855: As some are not aware of the fact, we would state that a new Post Office has recently been established in this county, about five and a half miles from this place on the Brazil road, formerly known as Kennedy's Mills, now called Centre Point. Our friend Mr. B. S. (surname illegible), merchant, is postmaster and will receive the names of all the people in that vicinitiy who wish to subscribe for the Citizen. As the paper will reach them the same day it is published, we hope to receive a big list from that office. ~~Dixie Kline Richardson
