    3. Hello, My grandmother was a HAIN who met my grandfather, a HARRIS, in Clay Co. My grandmother and grandfather were both born in Clay Co. My great-great-grandfather, William Noble HAIN, was born in Marion Co., Ohio, 22 Aug 1837. He married Anna WINTERHALDER/WINTERHALTER in Marion Co., 25 Mar 1860. They are in an 1870 Owen Co., IN census with 3 of their children. Then they moved to Staunton, Clay, IN. William HAIN died in Staunton, 26 Feb 1880 and is buried in Center Point. He was a postmaster at Ashboro and died of consumption. Other surnames associated with my Hain family are BARNHART and KAUBLE that moved to Clay Co. from Marion Co., OH. William and Anna had 4 children: Sarah Elizabeth Hain, married Daniel BURGAN Joseph Seibert Hain, died young Emery Walter Hain, died young William Orville Hain, born in Owen Co., 30 Apr 1870, died in Staunton, Clay, IN 2 Jun 1851., married Blanche BRANDRIFF, my great-grandparents. William Orville and Blanche are buried in Clearview Cemetery. I would love to talk with anybody who knows of any of the surnames I mentioned. Thank you, Sincerely Carla charris@texas.net
