Shaw, age 91, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2000 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Westerville. She was born June 14, 1909 in Brazil, Ind. and was a member of New Life United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Leslie C. Shaw, parents Charles and Margaret Bass, sister and brother-in-law Celia and Thomas Rush and her brother William Bass. She is survived by her son, Ronald L. Shaw; daughter, Karen (Robert) Brown; grandchildren, Steven R. Shaw, David A. (Susan) Shaw, Jennifer N. (Christopher) Hatem, Jason P. (Ashlee Dobbs) Brown; great-grandchild, Sierra Dobbs-Brown; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Eugene) Wittmeyer and Ethel Bass; nieces and nephews, Larry (Kaye) Rush, Richard Rush, Gary (Jo) Rush, all of Plainfield, Ind. and Shari Phillips of Vincennes, Ind.; great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2000 at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME, 2383 N. High St., Columbus with Rev. Jenn! ifer Kimball-Casto officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. The family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
