Heffner, 64(?) years old, well known retired farmer and coal miner of Sugar Ridge township, died Monday night at his home at Center Point. The deceased was born in Terre Haute, a son of Lewis and Barbara Heffner, but most of his life was spent in Center Point and vicinity. He was a member of the U.B. church at Center Point. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Lena Heffner; a daughter, Mrs. Wildus Steeves of Columbus, Ind; a sister, Mrs. Mary Boyce, and a brother, John Heffner, both of Center Point, and also a half-brother, William O. Graeser, of Center Point, and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the Rentschler Funeral Home.
