Mrs. Hawkins was born in Sugar Ridge township, the daughter of Levi and Elizabeth (Sinders) Fogle, early settlers of Clay county. Mrs. Hawkins had spent her entire life in the community, highly valued as a member of the Centerpoint U.B. church and was an active member of the Mite society until her health failed. The deceased is survived by the husband and two brothers, John Fogle, of Clay City and Henry Fogle, of near Centerpoint. The body was taken to Rentschler's funeral home and will be returned to the residence Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at the Centerpoint U.B. church at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Interment will be in Centerpoint cemetery.
